Mealworm Feeders
Mealworm Feeders are an exciting way to further contribute to the Eastern Bluebird's amazing recovery from the ravages the introduction of aggressive, foreign cavity nesters (sparrows and European starlings). Eastern Bluebirds can use two different feeder types: clear plexiglas chambers with specially sizes entry and exit holes, or perch-less feeder ports. The Downy, Hairy, Pileated and other Woodpeckers will visit the sturdy, perch-less feeder ports effortlessly. Live mealworms are available at pet stores that sell reptiles, or through mail order. |
